The main mission statement of the blog is to present a space where people can discuss politics in a civil manner. It will be a site where people can bring up ideas, make suggestions, have substantive arguments and have a great time while learning something new. Politics and current events take up the brunt of what will be conversed about, but other areas of thought are welcome. However, this blog does not represent a place for solicitation or petty, blatant attacks. Although an old adage says to never discuss politics and religion, these current times desperately cry out for a reasoned and articulate approach to what is happening.
